Furniture Prototype Project
This project allowed designers to design and build a life-size prototype of a free-standing lamp. The brief requirements were to design a free-standing lamp with an additional function and to use eco-friendly materials. Pythagoras called the circle "Monad", meaning the most perfect form, without a beginning or an end. The concept stems off of Pythagoras' depiction of circular forms. The lamp is designed as an ambient light with a small side table as its additional function for small decorative items.
